Jennifer Picenoni, Group Management Member - General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

"After working in a Zurich based law firm, I joined Lindt & Sprüngli in 2007 as Senior Legal Counsel. In 2008, I was promoted to Head Corporate Legal, in 2014 to Group General Counsel leading the company’s global Legal & IP affairs and compliance operations. Beginning of 2017, I took over the additional responsibility as Corporate Secretary of the Board of Directors. Since beginning of 2020, I am member of the Group Managment. At Lindt & Sprüngli, employees can take ownership of the individual growth and development while actively pursuing new opportunities. I am inspired every day by the enormous dedication and passion of all employees delivering together their best for our chocolate products."

Mathias Schenker, Senior International Marketing Manager

“I started my career at Lindt & Sprüngli in June 2009 as a Product Manager for Tablets in the Swiss Marketing Department. Two years later, I was handed over responsibility for LINDOR. Working with a very ambitious, passionate, and experienced team allowed me to develop excellent marketing skills. In 2013, I took the opportunity to start working in the newly established subsidiary in Cape Town, first as a Senior Product Manager and soon after in the position of Director of Marketing. Together with a fantastic team, we established Lindt as the most loved brand. Soon, Lindt became the Number 3 Chocolate brand in South Africa. The diverse cultures, the strong wind not so much, but a great team, new best friends, and finally, our two daughters who were both born in Cape Town made me fall in love with the country. Nevertheless, in 2019 we moved back to Switzerland, where I took on another opportunity at the Lindt & Sprüngli International team in the role of Senior Marketing Manager for LINDOR. I now enjoy working with many different talents around the globe to grow our biggest brand in the Group further.”"

Sashindra Gunaratne, Corporate Controller

“My story at at this company began 2015 in the land down under, Australia, when I joined the Lindt & Sprüngli family as a Supply Chain Analyst. I soon found myself presented with multiple opportunities to grow and became the Commercial Analyst for Australia's retail business in 2017. The journey continued, and since 2018, I have been in the role of Corporate Controller at our Headquarters here in Switzerland. In the last two years, I have had the pleasure of working with amazing individuals across the globe. I truly believe our company's success is due to the collective passion and dedication of our many teams. What I love about working at Lindt & Sprüngli, apart from the chocolates, is that I feel valued and make an impact.”

Martin Hug, Group Management Member - Group CFO

"I started my journey at Lindt & Sprüngli in 2004, when I moved back from Latin America to Switzerland to join the Corporate Finance team as Senior Corporate Controller. This first role at Lindt & Sprüngli allowed me to understand the company's culture and learn about the head office's financial processes. Fifteen months later, I moved to London to Lindt & Sprüngli's subsidiary in the United Kingdom in the CFO role of this fast-growing business unit. It was a fascinating opportunity indeed, learning to navigate in the Anglo-Saxon culture and being part of the local management team working with lots of passionate and very entrepreneurial professionals driving the business forward. Six years later, I received the possibility of moving to the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company in San Francisco in California, which was very exciting, professionally, and personally. Business culture in North America is quite different from Europe. The six years in the United States were an excellent lesson to understand how business is done and what attributes are necessary to become a successful leader in a complex globalized world. Since 2017, I have been back to Switzerland in the role of the Group CFO, and I am very excited to help Lindt & Sprüngli achieve it's mid to long term targets. The opportunities in North America and the United Kingdom have helped me grow as a leader, and I can highly recommend getting some business experience abroad for a few years."
