As a global leader in the premium chocolate sector, the company looks back on a long-standing tradition with its origin in Zurich, Switzerland. Lindt & Sprüngli produces quality chocolates today at its 12 own production sites in Europe and the USA. They are sold by 36 subsidiaries and branch offices, as well as via a network of more than 100 independent distributors around the globe. In addition, Lindt & Sprüngli runs around 520 own shops. With more than 14,500 employees, the Lindt & Sprüngli Group reported sales of CHF 5.2 billion in 2023.

Foundations

The Lindt Chocolate Competence Foundation aims to safeguard Switzerland’s leading position as a chocolate manufacturing country and reinforce and expand Swiss chocolate expertise. The core project of the foundation is the Lindt Home of Chocolate.

The Lindt Cocoa Foundation has the declared purpose of working to achieve social and ecological sustainability in the cultivation, production and processing of cocoa and other raw materials used in chocolate production. Also, it supports the Lindt & Sprüngli Farming Program with additional fundings.
